Cold! Go Away!

Hi my Venus´!

So I recently twig that if you want to loose pounds or live healthy, it´s a huge disadvantage when you get a cold…And I got one…
So first of all, you can´t do any kinds of sports because the cold would just get worse and be honest! When you always cough, sneeze and fight against your headache, you don´t have any ambitions to move actively.
Second, what can you do all day long expect lying in bed, eating, going for a little walk, reading or watching TV? Right, nothing! And the chocolate suddenly looks so delicious and seductive… So as long as you have your cold, you can´t lose weight. Besides the fact you lost your appetite. But in my opinion this isn´t so good either…

Well, what can we do? There is only one thing: Relaxing! Sleep, warm tea and fresh air are the best cure you can get. If the cold is chronic, you should also take medicine of course^^ After a few days, you will feel a lot better! (And I was so happy, that I didn´t had work!)
And a reason for you catching a cold is your weak immune system. You should ask yourself why it´s so weak. I found my mistake. I need fresh air and I should do my sport outside.
For me it means: “Hello jogging!” (I really hate to jog, but what else could I do? *sighing* I should have stayed in the athletic course…Now it doesn´t matter anymore^^)

This is my advice: Don´t get frustrated. Stay calm, be healthy again and start your workout after you are fully recovered. XD

“Don´t drink so much coffee! What about water?!”

So here is my first experience, advice, or how else you want to call it^^
As you may can guess of the title, it´s about drinks especially coffee and water.

Some of you hate coffee or love it (like me XD). So I want to write not just about this drink. My second choice is therefore water^^

But first, let´s talk about the benefits of coffee. It smells and taste awesome (for some people 😉 ), helps you to get up early in the morning and it´s the best drink if you want to talk with someone in a coffee shop/bakery or if you have a date in this establishment^^ And there are different variations: Latte Machiato, Americano, Espresso and more 😀

However coffee has also a dark side. If you drink it with too much suggar, for example because you have a lot of stress lately, it isn´t good for your body. On the one hand you will gain weight because of the fat and on the other hand you damage your health.
A lot of you will probably don´t know that coffee hinders the intake of iron. And our body needs iron. Without it we would have a lot of problems. Side effects are for example dizziness, a headache, depressions, reduction of your stamina, problems while concentrating and even fatigue! So a lot of coffee doesn´t help you to stay awake. It makes everything even worse.

Don´t think I want you to stop drinking coffee! Of course not! As I said before, I myself love coffee (especially Latte Machiato ❤ ) and I will not stop drinking it. But I gave up the sugar and when I´m drinking coffee, then just one cup a day. It really helps^^ I´m not so tired anymore. (Due to the fact that I was a regulare coffee drinker, I was so sleepy all day long…) And if I want to wake up, I just listen to my KPop music and I´m totally awake. XD
That was the coffee. And now I want to write about water.
Everyone should know, that if you drink a lot of Cola, Fanta, Sprite or other sweet drinks throughout the day, it will not help you, if you want to loose weight or fat. So water is the best solution for that. A lot of people don´t appreciate the quality of water. If you are thirsty, water is the best drink to clear your thirst. It keeps you healthy.
Also, since I started to do more sports, I drink a glass of warm water every morning and evening too. After this you aren´t so hungry anymore and it´s good for your circulation.

I stop here, because otherwise I would let my mind wander. Sorry^^

Hello everyone^^

Before I start with this introduction, I want to tell you: I don´t think I´m a beauty or a Venus XD This name (and the idea for this blog) just popped in my head after watching the Korean drama “Oh My Venus”. OMG! I love this drama so much ❤
So for everyone who don´t know this series: Just watch it! You have romance, comedy, drama and sport^^ (Viki is for example my favourite site to watch Kdramas :)) There you can also read the summary of this one.)
Aaaand my mind wanders again. Sorry^^

So because of this wonderful drama the name of this blog is “AsianVenus”. Annyeong XD
But now the most important information. What will this blog be about?

While watching “Oh My Venus”, I began to start exercise, to be more careful about what I´m eating and when. And I want to share my experiences with you^^ Isn´t this nice? No? But I want to do it anyway!
Not everyone is perfect. Some of us aren´t happy about our appearence. The gaze of some people change when they see us. But it´s alright. I myself wasn´t very self-confident. But I am better now. And when I´m done with my exercises, I feel good.
So have fun reading this blog. I really hope that it will help you a little bit, because diets are never an option. After a diet the Yo-Yo-effect follows. And everything is back to normal again…Besides they aren´t good for your body and health!

Enough about the introduction XD I´m happy about any comments and your own thoughts and experiences^^
And please, do not be so hard with me and especially my English^^ I´m not a native speaker 🙂 My mother tongue is German. So of course you can also ask me something in German.
